Ken is a Chartered Accountant, a Registered Tax Consultant and a member of The Irish Taxation Institute. For 15 years he was a Partner in another Sligo based accounting firm, where he had responsibility for advising clients on all aspects of taxation and wealth management. He therefore has first-hand knowledge of the difficulties and issues facing businesses at this time.

Ken has been an active member of the Irish Taxation Institute, having been a Council member for over 10 years and was also Deputy President. He is a former Chairman of TALC (Taxation Advisers Liaison Committee) and has written and lectured extensively on taxation matters over the years.

Philip has nearly 23 years experience of working in taxation. He is a Registered Tax Consultant and a member of the Irish Taxation Institute. Having originally trained and worked in Dublin for many years he returned to his native Sligo in 1998.

He is a former Tax Manager with a well known firm of Chartered Accountants in the North West and has worked exclusively in the area of taxation, operating in a wide variety of tax technical areas with clients from various backgrounds nationwide. He has written numerous taxation articles for publication including for the ‘Irish Tax Review’ and has also represented the Irish Taxation Institute on tax technical discussions with the Revenue Commissioners in Dublin Castle.

Philip has presented many seminars both to the public and to other Accountants and Tax Practitioners together with giving media interviews on such issues as Tax Designated Property Schemes etc over the years.

Kathya is a Chartered Accountant and Tax Consultant. She spent 9 years working in a large firm in the Northwest spending her time dealing with auditing, accounting, company secretarial and tax for a wide variety of local, national and multinational businesses. She has also lectured part-time in the area of financial accounting for Sligo Institute of Technology. She set up Kathya Rouse & Co. in 2008 dealing with tax and accounting for small businesses before founding McMoreland Duffy Rouse in 2009 with Philip & Ken.
